Infusion Therapy

Hi All,
Hannah had her infusion yesterday. It went well, and we had a good trip to Childrens and back. Thank you for all the prayers. We had a good day, and spent some time just Hannah and I. Hannah enjoyed passing out beanie babies to the kids she met, and she made a few new friends. We are thankful to God for a good trip, and bringing us home again safe.
Hannah will have to wear her face mask again, this does bother her, but it will be no time before she is comfortable with it. We do pray that no one makes fun of her, she has had a few problems in the past.
We hope that you all have a blessed week.
Much love and Prayers, Lori and girls

Update...

It has been a long summer for us. Several hospital visits here, and a few at Children's. Hopefully we can get back to normal. Hannah does have one more Children's visit on the 4th of Aug. but hopefully that will be it for a while. She is scheduled for an infusion at 9 and we should be home early afternoon. So for an update for anyone who wants to know. Hannah is now 10 and her health issues are:
Asthma and Allergies, heart murmur, pulmunary valve stenosis, migranes, psorisis, psoriatic arthritis, immunedificiency - all of her IG levels are really low, hypogammaglobulinemia - she will be getting immunoglobins by IV every 4 weeks begining again in August, and crohn's.
We are doing lots of vitimins, as well as fresh goats milk and the IVIG transfusions.
Hannah is such a trooper, she loves all her nurses and Dr's at Children's and she still takes beanie babbie to other children. She is an encouragement to others, but mostly to me. It makes me realize that the things that we sometimes feel are important really aren't as major as we think.
We are begining our homeschooling again soon, the girls are learning German this year, and I may try some spanish second semester, depending how they do on the German during the first semester. We have a friend who is in Germany right now, and the girls are looking forward to sending a letter to them.
We will be posting some new pictures soon, you will be suprised at how much the girls have grown lately. Sarah is going into 7th grade this year, and Hannah is going into 5th grade this year. They grow so fast!
We hope that you are all doing well.

roller coaster ride....

Hi Friends,
Hope that everyone is doing good. We are keeping busy. Hannah and Sarah both have sinus infections, and Carissa has mono again....
Daddy and I both are getting colds, so we all sound funny and have much coughing. Hopefully we are all on the mend.
We are otherwise doing good. Baby chick Chirp is doing good, and growing well. Her leg is deformed so she will have a spoiled life, well taken care of, and have all she needs or wants, so fun to raise a baby chicken. Hannah is excited that Chirp is growing so well. Chirp has been trying to fly in her cage, so it will be interesting to see how she does in the open yard. We love to hear her "sing" it is soft and sweet... to us. The dogs love her too, although I am very sure that Polly wants to have her for dinner. Mia on the other hand just sits and watches her anytime we get Chirp out of the cage. It is funny. The camera needs to be downloaded soon, so we will post pictures soon.
We hope that you all have a blessed week.
Much Love and Prayers,
Lori and girls

Doing good

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all doing well. We are having a good week, learning a lot, and enjoying spending time with family.
Hannah has an adversion to meat right now, to begin with she would eat only chicken, now she won't eat meat at all, hopefully that will change in the next few days to a week. I am trying to sneak meat in here and there. She is so smart, she wants to watch me cook everything. I am praying that it is just a faze....
We are getting ready to spend the weekend in the country. I am so thankful, that God blessed us with a friend that has a farm, and that she loves company. We hwlp with food and such when we go, so hopefully it isn't a burden to have us there. We ejoy helping with the chicken's and turkey's and duck's. We are having a bonfire, roasting marchmellows and making samores again, and we are going to maybe have a hay ride, not sure how Hannah will be with her asthma, but we will try.
Today we were out running errands and found a few old trains, they were really neat, and we enjoyed looking at them, one was an old dinner train, and then a coach train, and then two old trains that were just the casing and sides. The girls and I had a buch of fun just seeing them. We did take pictures.
Hope that you all have a blessed weekend.
Much Love and prayers,
